Captain Dieter Scheel has been fishing local waters for over 40 years, spending much of his fishing time on the Delaware River for the last 20 years. Dieter started guiding clients for Smallmouth Bass in 2001, with referrals and return customers making up all of his business. When not on the water with customers, Dieter can often be found on the river with his favorite fishing partner, 12 year old daughter Hanne.

I'm officially Daiwa Pro Staff and will be adding Daiwa products as the year progresses.
Plenty of St. Croix rods will be on my boat this year. Last year the majority of the rods were upgraded, including high end Avids, Legend Tournaments, and more. This year it'll be new reels, including some really high end Daiwas.
New species that we'll be targeting this year will include Flathead Catfish and monster Carp - all on light tackle. We've caught Carp up to 25lbs. on rods designed for 2-8lb. test - a real challenge for even the most savvy angler!
